Have you registered to vote? Better act fast as monday, August 1st is the latest date to register to vote for Mayor and Council elections for the City of Phoenix. These will be crucial elections that will change our City leadership and set a new course for future development in Greater Downtown Phoenix. Downtown and Central City advocate, Phil Gordon has termed out as mayor and candidates with varied backgrounds and experience are heavily campaigning to get the coveted office.
On June 13, Phoenix Community Alliance in partnership with Downtown Phoenix Journal hosted a mayoral candidate forum to gain insight on the candidates and their stance on issues important to PCA membership and Phoenix stakeholders. You can view the event and read a twitter recap of the candidate responses per question at DowntownPhoenixJournal.com.
